{"id":9280,"date":"2021-03-01T22:18:57","date_gmt":"2021-03-01T21:18:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/etl-ilia.es\/general\/planes-de-igualdad-para-empresas\/"},"modified":"2021-05-05T17:10:46","modified_gmt":"2021-05-05T15:10:46","slug":"equality-plans-for-companies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/etl-ilia.es\/en\/tax-advice-blog\/equality-plans-for-companies\/","title":{"rendered":"Equality plans for companies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><div class=\"fusion-fullwidth fullwidth-box fusion-builder-row-1 fusion-flex-container nonhundred-percent-fullwidth non-hundred-percent-height-scrolling\" style=\"--awb-border-radius-top-left:0px;--awb-border-radius-top-right:0px;--awb-border-radius-bottom-right:0px;--awb-border-radius-bottom-left:0px;--awb-flex-wrap:wrap;\" ><div class=\"fusion-builder-row fusion-row fusion-flex-align-items-flex-start fusion-flex-content-wrap\" style=\"max-width:1248px;margin-left: calc(-4% \/ 2 );margin-right: calc(-4% \/ 2 );\"><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-0 fusion_builder_column_1_1 1_1 fusion-flex-column fusion-animated small-column\" style=\"--awb-bg-size:cover;--awb-width-large:100%;--awb-margin-top-large:0px;--awb-spacing-right-large:1.92%;--awb-margin-bottom-large:20px;--awb-spacing-left-large:1.92%;--awb-width-medium:100%;--awb-spacing-right-medium:1.92%;--awb-spacing-left-medium:1.92%;--awb-width-small:100%;--awb-spacing-right-small:1.92%;--awb-spacing-left-small:1.92%;\" data-animationType=\"fadeInUp\" data-animationDuration=\"0.3\" data-animationOffset=\"top-into-view\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-column-has-shadow fusion-flex-justify-content-flex-start fusion-content-layout-column\"><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-1 contenido-texto\" id=\"post\"><p class=\"intro\">The <strong>equality plan<\/strong> is an ordered set of measures adopted after carrying out a situation diagnosis, in order to achieve equal treatment and opportunities between women and men in the company, and <strong>eliminate discrimination based on sex<\/strong> that may exist in the company.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-separator fusion-full-width-sep\" style=\"align-self: center;margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;margin-bottom:20px;width:100%;\"><div class=\"fusion-separator-border sep-double\" style=\"--awb-height:20px;--awb-amount:20px;border-color:#e0dede;border-top-width:0px;border-bottom-width:0px;\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-2\"><p>The <strong>measures<\/strong> included must be specific, so an agreement limited to incorporating the rights already included in the legal system is not considered an Equality plan.<\/p>\n<p>The minimum content of the <strong>Equality Plan<\/strong> depends on the results obtained in the previous diagnosis of the situation.<\/p>\n<p>From <strong>March 8, 2019,<\/strong> it is mandatory that this diagnosis, at least, contains the following subjects:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Selection and hiring process<\/li>\n<li>Professional classification, training<\/li>\n<li>Professional promotion<\/li>\n<li>Working conditions, including salary audit between women and men<\/li>\n<li>Co-responsible exercise of the rights to reconcile personal, family and work-life<\/li>\n<li>Female underrepresentation<\/li>\n<li>Remuneration and prevention of sexual and gender-based harassment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To fulfil the purpose of achieving <strong>equality between women and men<\/strong> in the workplace, RDL 6\/2019 modified the regulation of equality plans in companies. Among the modifications included, the obligation to implement <strong>equality plans<\/strong> for companies with more than 50 workers (previously, more than 250 workers) was expanded.
